Privacy Policy
Overview
Closr provides AI accrual intelligence for accounting and finance teams. This Privacy Policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the controls we apply when handling ERP and accounting data uploaded to, or synced into, the platform.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, work email, company, role.
- ERP & accounting data: general ledger entries, vendor records, invoices, service periods, GL coding, and related metadata you connect or upload.
- Usage data: product interactions, approvals, and audit events used to improve reliability and provide an audit trail.
How we use your data
- Generate accrual recommendations, journal entry batches, and close-period insights.
- Provide accountant review workflows, exports, and audit history.
- Operate, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use customer financial data to train foundation models.
Secure handling of ERP & accounting data
ERP integrations use read-only access by default. Customer data is logically isolated by tenant and accessed only through authenticated, role-based pathways. All journal entry exports require explicit accountant review and approval before they leave Closr.
Authentication & encryption
- Authentication is enforced on every request; sessions are scoped per user and per tenant.
- Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using industry-standard encryption.
- Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and reviewed.
Data retention
We retain customer data for the duration of your subscription and for a limited period afterward to support audit, legal, and compliance obligations. You can request deletion of customer data at any time.
Subprocessors
Closr uses a small set of vetted infrastructure providers for hosting, database, and authentication. A current list is available upon request.
